All staff has access to the Internet for technical research. We also have an internal library with reference books, codes of practice technical journals and files which cover all aspects of civil engineering undertaken in this office.
The software packages include:
- Prokon design package for the Civil and Structural Engineering Design and Drafting.
- Tekla Structural design package for the Civil and Structural Engineering Design
- The AutoCAD Revit Structure for 3-D structural design.
- CSC Orion – design package for the Civil and Structural Engineering Design and Drafting
- Model Maker for civil engineering designs.
- Timber programmes for the design of light weight steel or timber. These programmes are used under license from the International Truss Systems (Pty) Ltd and Mitek SA (Pty) Ltd.
- Lofgenie for dry stacked retaining walls.
- Docman Filing System for permanent filing of all computer-generated documents or scanned documents.
- Pastel for accounting package.
- A full Microsoft Office package for every staff member.
